In the mid 90's who would've thought that some of the most sought after emcee battle footage would have been filmed at a Hip Hop festival in Cincinnati, Ohio? Scribble Jam is the event committed to celebrating all aspects of Hip Hop culture. Before Scribble Jam became the distinguished festival it is today; before high-tech video cameras were accessible to everyone; there were simply the Hip Hop enthusiasts who would flock to Cincinnati every August for a celebration of their culture. These early years have proven to be important milestones. Included on this DVD is the previously lost footage, of the now famous, 1997 Emcee battle featuring Hip Hop greats Eminem, Juice, Rhymefest and Dose One. All have since gone on to prolific careers in Hip Hop music. This DVD compilation includes the entire Scribble Jam 1997, 1998, and 1999 videos, with appearances by Slug, Adeem, Sage Francis, Eyedea, Brother Ali, P.E.A.C.E. (from Freestyle Fellowship), Cros One, Phase 2, Jaser, Dalek, Emit, DJ Precyse and many others.
